Comments Thread For: Roach: Mayweather Knew About Pacquiao's Shoulder Injury

The thing that stands out is why did they not disclose the injury in the medical forms before the fight. To leave that out was ******, and cost him possibly being allowed a painkiller. If that would have affected the fight that much is debatable, but it was a reasonably close fight.

Injuries are to be expected for boxers when fights are made 7+ years past their expiration date. As Roach said, not only was Pacquiao's shoulder injured, but Floyd's hands were all messed up too. That's why you never marinate fights like this. When will boxing learn? They would have made hundreds of millions years and years before they eventually did it, so that is no excuse. They would have made hundreds of millions MORE on the rematch and maybe trilogy fight too, but because they waited too long to make the first one, they lost out on all that money. Fans lose, fighters lose, the sport loses, everyone loses. What a dumb way to do business, and run the sport. The "Floyd blueprint" can't die soon enough in this regard.

Roach needs to get his head examined and retire from public life period.

See, here's the problem with what Freddie is saying. He says Floyd shoots up his hands often. Floyd was testing with USADA. So, if he shoots up often and it's not a problem with drug testing, it's because it's legal. In Vegas lidocain is legal. It's not banned. SO why would Freddie or Manny have to give permission or agree to allow Floyd to use it if it's not a banned substance? Also, why would you divulge your injury to your opponent, but not to the agency that hands out drug exemptions? He could have went straight to the agency and got the the****utic use exemption and not have to tell Floyd anything. Clearly Freddie is lying.
