Comments Thread For: Groves: Hopefully We'll Never Have To Hear From DeGale Again

DeGale is a fraud, runner and holder. Glad Banks beat him up

I think Groves is enjoying this moment a little too much now but it is funny.

What do DeGale, Groves and Eubanks have in common? overrated and overhyped domestic level fighters... with a HUGE chip on their shoulder!

nothing wrong with banter between fighters but calling them overrated overhyped that's absurd. All were easily world championship level and proved it. Eubank perhaps the weaker of the 3 but Groves and DeGale when he wasn't shot were very good fighters.

Degale took pleasure in rubbing it in Groves face so he's allowed to return the favour.

Out of these 3 degale will be the only one remembered as daring to be great attempting to unify and going on the road against tough guys and Britain's first Olympic gold medallist to be a world champion. GG was a tryer and god loves tryer but his reign was poor and it took him about 4 attempts and his resume isn't great. His best win is chudinov or maybe eubank.. maybe eubank can surprise us all and go on to have competetive fights at world level at both middleweight and smw and be remembered as a warrior in the Ilk of his father

George Groves ... bit of a ****? Retired fighter salting the retirement of one of his competitors. Why not go whole hog and diminish more of your career and call Eubank a clown? Everyone else does.
