If Haymon really cares about these guys, he'd make it mandatory for them see a therapist and a financial adviser (mainly concerning the impact of legal fees)...and possibly a drug counselor.

When I was at Penn State there was a guy who boxed at around 126 lbs who was an absolute killer at NCAA level. He was friends with a bunch of football players and these guys (top athletes up to twice his weight) would try to box him at parties. He would always slip their first punch and break their nose.
