Ive clearly seen compubox count punches that didnt connect. Its two guys pushing 4 buttons in REAL time with no replays.

And because a guys lands more or throws more doesnt mean he won... Ill take a guy throwing less but throwing combos and mixing it up over a guy just throwing jabs no body work or combos all day long.

I keep telling people the same thing! That it's a couple of guys pushing buttons in a live fight.. one guy per fighter.
But I think it's More like 4 buttons per person...
Jab, power punch, body punch, and missed punches...
It's easy to get confused if you're pushing buttons during a live fight!
I don't put any weight on compubox numbers!

I still put more more weight on Compubox than on random people who say "such-and-such landed more punches" without making any effort to track them properly at all.

Canelo won all of these. Even Roy said GGG talked all that sht and ran. Wouldnt engage Canelo and then ran out the ring crying. GGG looked even beat up.

I gave GGG the 1st fight 7-5 and Canelo the 2nd 7-5. I even had some GGG fans over and they even felt he lost.

Guys who throw fast combinations tend to benefit because its hard to tell which landed or landed cleanly. That's not only Compubox that has the problem you.mentioned it's the judges also.

I agree with you. It is hard to determine which punches actually connect if you're scoring a fight live so a person has to use their own judgement when they watch and score a fight instead of going by what compubox numbers say...

exactly, everyone is overhyping him. Canelo will beat his body and sharp shoot him with counters all day.

He is definitely elite but will never be number 1 in the division as it stands. I mean look at his fights with Arias and Sulecki. How can the guy who fought them as he did be the top guy? Canelo is going to put on a masterclass and UD him if Jacobs runs all night as I suspect or he will KO him if he brings the fight.

Jacobs is too damn big and strong...He better go out swinging because he’s not getting the decision in Vegas!

I'm expecting him to run and run all night. He will throw in slapping combos and beat his chest like he did something. Canelo UD if Jacobs runs. If I'm wrong and Jacobs engages then he is getting knocked out or Rozier throws in the towel for his "son" because of the brutal amount of punishment he will take, but I'm 99% sure Jacobs runs and runs all night and tries utilizing his length to fight from outside while never connecting with anything with any power on it. In this scenario, we could get a super boring Laraesque night of boxing.
