We need the Peter quillin version of Jacobs for Canelo. Let's face it.Nelo already gets 4 points just for being in the ring. Against Mayweather he lost EVERY round and a judge still seeming gave him a DRAW. Jacobs needs a KO to win.

Reality is that Canelo is no Peter Quillin so it doesnt matter if that Jacobs shows up


And Canelo didn’t lose every round vs Floyd. Almost..but stop.

The guy landing the better shots tends to get the nod in most fights, no different with Canelo.

The Floyd card was indeed terrible, but almost every top fighter has had such a card. Floyd, Pac, Canelo, Oscar, the list goes on.

The Canelo fights didnt go the way you wanted.. but none were robberies.

Don’t hate the player hate the game. If Jacobs gets robbed, that’s terrible. If Jacobs OR Canelo wins a close fight, that’s not a robbery.

Jacobs can’t do a Lara and not engage for 30-45 seconds at a time and get hit with the harder shots and only land a jab and expect to win.

Canelo has a very eye catching style so it’s hard to get a call over him when in doubt as his punches just tend to leave strong impressions Same with Floyd and Pac before him. They way they fight they’re just judge eye magnets.


This fight is hard to call. Jacobs has the ability to fight from the outside and is one of the rare talents who can almost match Canelo’s handspeed with power at these weights and might be able to make him work to get his work off with his length. Next to BJS, Jacobs is his toughest stylistic matchup.

I’m a huge fan of both these guys so I can’t root against either. Just happy to be a fan and to witness this matchup.
