None of them were promised a 7figure contract though lmao. This is why no1 likes doing business with the criminal Arum. What happened to Nicholas Walters smh

I wonder if this will happen to Tyson Fury too if he loses his next fight?

In most cases though, if you lose a high profile fight they will keep you around.
You sound ridiculous. Didnt all those guys lose before they got with Top Rank? Some of them anyway? In any case their issue is they aren't elite not TR. The moment they become the best in their weight class, TR will get them belts again, but they're not.

Alvarez will, unfortunately, probably be back in with a champ shortly, according to this article. ESPN and TR apparently don't have the money or ambition to make unifications at light heavyweight, so they'll probably use Alvarez as a cheaper "big fight" option.

Not that Alvarez doesn't deserve it, but he really needs to rehab his image, as Kovalev did in the rematch, before it becomes viable. And how is that going to happen? He needs to go beat Marcus Browne or Badou Jack at least, or a top prospect, you know what I mean? Maybe Kalijdgich, that's who top Rank should be signing, Hot Rod Kalidgich, who beat Marcus Browne. Alvarez should fight that guy next. Then if Alvarez wins, they can market it like "Alvarez beat the guy who beat Marcus Browne, who is currently top 6 at 175, so he's proven his elite chops again, and is a big threat to Gvozdyk or Beterbiev or Bivol again." Which works because it's true. But until he does that, he's now looked at more as the guy who just got shutout by a near-36 year old Kovalev, rather than the top guy from before, so it's not interesting. But I have no faith in TR being able to get him that right fight in between to make him relevant again at the top level.

If a fighter loses, he is going to take a paycut. That is a guarantee. It does not matter who you are signed with.

Forget lose; what's going to happen if Wilder tells him to **** off, Joshua tells him to **** off, Wilder and Joshua fight to determine one beltholder, and said beltholder drops the Fury offer to 30% and **** ESPN?

Five fights without the two big opponents and the $100m deal becomes a $20m deal?

Get him an easy opponent and then line him up against Zurdo Ramírez.

75% Of your money though, while still being locked into the deal for another 5-6 fights? lol

And then, were he to now pick up another world title (by beating Bivol, Beterbiev, Kovalev, or Gvozdyk), there'd be no update to the terms for the now two-time world champion?

When a fighter signs a multi fight/year contract. Those dollar figures advertised are listed as potential earnings. If Canelo lost his next two fights do you honestly think he will get 33 million for each of his last 8 fights in his contract? Hell no.

The money is all about performance guarantees. The fighters are required to win LOL
