Did you forget Cawford is exclusively signed to ESPN meanwhile every other welterweight champion is on PBC?

What does Crawford from ESPN have to do with fights that can actually be made on the PBC side easily?

It doesn't make any logical sense. The argument is genuinely invalid. Crawford is only calling out Spence out of desperation due to there not being any real creditable opponents available for him to on the other side of the pond. I know Crawford genuinely wants the fight, but he is tied exclusively to ESPN which is out of his control.

Therefore let me correct myself: No welterweight on PBC has openly said they want to fight Spence. The only top name fighter who has said his name is Mikey Garcia, and they are going to fight in less then 30 days.

A fight with Manny or Thurman would net them more money. Spence doesn't really bring much to the table, monetarily.

That makes sense, but when you are a prospect on the rise, it's not about "big money fights." You can play that card once you truly establish yourself as somebody. He has established himself as....well he hasn't...at all lol.

Established himself as a fighter that got schooled by Yordenis Ugas maybe. It's about getting your foot in the door when you're a guy on the rise with something to prove. So this doesn't really apply to him.

Now to address what you're saying about money in general: Peterson made almost 4 million to fight Spence. Haymon is overpaying (because he's forced to) guys to get them into the ring with Spence. Spence is now headling his own PPV fight, something no other top welterweight except Pacquiao and Broner have done. The money will certainly be there from this point moving forward, if it isn't already (Peterson)

crawford looks and sounds genuine his eyes show it arum has been very vocal about it they want to make it happen. it seems like pbc has no interest in doing that. that sucks for boxing.

I'll give Jamal a pass on this one because he's ranked #3 by the WBA, so Manny and Thurman are the WBA Champs! Both are with PBC! He should be targeting those 2!

However, you're on point regarding Crawford! Spence vs. Crawford is not big enough for a co-promotion like Floyd vs. Manny! Spence is not going to do what Linares did for Lomachenko, and Bob is not letting Crawford fight on a PBC card! Bob must do a better job of promoting his own WWs! He has Bes***** ranked #1 by the WBA, and Kavaliauskas ranked #1 by the WBO! Yet Crawford is fighting Amir Khan, who is amazingly ranked #2 by the WBO! Why? Why isn't Bob forcing a purse bid for Thurman or Pacquiao to face Bes*****? Hopefully Kava does well vs. Robinson and could give Crawford a proper test @ 147.

No, Prince is not ready to fight those guys, yet.

                  But good luck to him.
