There have been a few of us stating that Golovkin should have already been at 168 a while back. Let's please not bring up cliché reasons as to why GGG stayed at 160. Let's move on.

What we KNOW for FACT is that Golovkin would have EASILY beaten Dirrell or Yildirim last night, not even a challenge. I also strongly and truly believe GGG beats Benavidez as well. GGG would also implement in negotiations to fight Smith in fair game, and imo GGG has the defensive IQ to beat Smith as well. Also Caleb Plant would not beat Golovkin. The ring IQ and level is apparent. Lastly, GGG beats Ramirez the same way he beats Smith with serious VADA testing in play and rehydration clauses. Trust me, Sanchez and Loeffler would know what to demand, and it'd be up to Hearn or Arum to agree with those stipulations. Therefore it goes to purse bid and Team GGG wins either way.

My problem is that the reason why GGG can't decide is because he has to deal with the DAZN, Ring, and GBP shills in Loeffler's affiliations whom UNFORTUNATELY all HATE PBC. This is the main problem. They would rather feed GGG to Canelo 3 just so that PBC doesn't flourish which ironically is the contrary, GGG will flourish on PBC like the Pac post model.

Guys, GGG is about to sign for the benefit of GBP, DAZN, and Ring shilling just because they don't want PBC to do good things for Golovkin. This is absolutely not fair to Golovkin.

What interest is there for Gennady to fight Jacobs again? Andrade or the controversial Canelo series? These things do nothing for Golovkin and the 160 narrative has sailed. I urge you guys to consider that GGG can have 6 great fights on PBC and become a unified Champion at 168 AND he will have PPV on Showtime.
Golovkin's sole goal, since leaving Universum and coming to the US with K2, has been to "secure the bag". He doesn't give a **** about legacy, and that's been clear from early on in his run.

DAZN is paying him eight figures on a tune-up, another $30m if the Canelo fight happens (sleep on Daniel Jacobs if you want, Jacobs-Alvarez 2 is just as viable for September), and another eight figures for a random third fight, with options for other fights, and deferred money to try and build an actual promotional company with.

      Give it up

That’s the problem. People are stuck on Charlo. Charlo is as big as Truax and Eubank Jr. There’s no reason why Jermall Charlo even needs to dance around at 160.

Why does nobody acknowledge the weak division at 168?

Too many GGG haters and fake fans that believe GGG needs to stay at 160 and on DAZN. The guy has hard time making this weight.

He should obviously go to whoever gives him the most money. Legacy fights won't enter into the decision.

This is the problem brother. Where the rumored offers for GGG on PBC? People think I’m shilling for PBC. Trust me I’m not. I just want to see GGG take over the 168 division, and I don’t see how GGG on DAZN boosts his legacy.

GGG supposedly gave the finger to ESPN. We don’t know what those details were.

Haymon needs to try harder to secure Golovkin. GGG fighting Jacobs or Canelo is an utter waste of time. We all know Canelo haters will only make the GGG 3 fight all controversial again, same thing happened to Pac Marquez series.

We know Golovkin talked to Top Rank, with Arum saying that his demands were excessive.

Presumably GGG has also had talks with PBC as well.

So it sounds like he has done his due diligence. If he ends up signing with DAZN it's because they offered him the best monetary compensation.

Sounds like a lucrative retirement fund. I don't think GGG has 6 fights in him. He's 37. Nor does he care about legacy at this point.

This is phase 2 of GGG's career: The Retirement Tour. Sell your services to the highest bidder, with the least work (fights). Fight at any weight you like.

                  Good luck to him.

Yes but boxer’s have advisory. I’m sure GGG has been persuaded to not go to PBC for multiple reasons. GGG will make money either way.

Notice how GGG diehards simply say he’lol make more money without even referring to matchups. GGG has better and more meaningful fights at 168. The problem is Abel Sanchez, Loeffler, and the rest of DAZN, Ring, and GBP affiliations. They are throwing GGG to Canelo. Why do people want GGG vs Canelo 3? Let me guess, “money.” ******ed reasons, we boxing fans are better than that.

If people complain about fans talking about money, how does it disappear with GGG and instead they like it? My only other thought is GGG die hards are insecure of GGG losing on PBC, which I assure many that simply isn’t the case.

Bernard Hopkins could only do it or Marquez? This whole 37 years of narrative is getting played out. His best time is at 168 now. Pac still going.
