Glad these fights are happening. Thought maybe the WBSS was done. Prograis shouldn't have much trouble with Relikh. Either a late round stoppage or easy decision. Donaire/Tete should be a good one!

If it lands in New Orleans I will be shocked. His 1st fight in Nola did ok with 3,500 attending but that 2nd appearance against Flanagan was a dismal flop there had to be less than 1,000 there. They never announced the attendance which leads me to believe it was embarrassingly bad.Comment

The SSR-Estrada 2 card and this doubleheader on back-to-back nights is phenomenal. With Canelo-Jacobs the following Saturday. Anyone can see that.
I subscribed to DAZN for WBSS season 2 and the period with quarterfinal doubleheaders running about every weekend was great. After that it has really fallen off, with very occasional good cards and most weekends no boxing at all. Their late-April through June is lining up nicely.Comment

After Prograis wins this tournament he should move up and challenge Crawford. No point in sticking around.Comment

If it happens in New Orleans, it will not happen at the prior venue for the last 2 fights, the UNO Lakefront Arena. It is booked for lady roller derby that evening. The crowd was really sparse last time, so I doubt it will be held at the Smoothie King Center, the home of Los Pelicanos.Comment

It would be nice if people actually show up to support their local guy. This is world class boxing that they're getting a chance to see.If it happens in New Orleans, it will not happen at the prior venue for the last 2 fights, the UNO Lakefront Arena. Hopefully the promoters do a better job of attracting a crowd this time.Comment

I know. I dont have an explanation for why that last fight was so sparsely attended? I suppose it would fall on the promoters shoulders... What makes it even harder to swallow is NOLA always places in the top 5 for big cards via TV ratings.Comment
