    Let's focus on Heavyweight.

The WBA World has been held by Lewis, Holyfield, Bowe, Tyson, Foreman, Ali and Frazier. The belt goes back over many decades.

The WBA Super has an 8 year lineage, having been held by Wlad Klitschko, Fury and AJ.

General Lineage is better, defaults to the old simple World Champ, though if a boxer retires it complicates things for the worst of it isn’t passed on in combat. As far as the org belts the green strap has more instant recognition.

It’s somewhat confusing lad because they are times a guy like Floyd won the world then got “promoted” to super champ so does the lineage carry forward to the super or stay with the world title?

I was thinking they should unify the titles and then just call the next secondary belt “interim” but strictly speaking I agree with you. The lineage would carry forward because essentially it’s the same belt from when klitchko was promoted.
