Joyce has been boxing for 11 years

I keep hearing people say he's only had 7 pro fights or been 16 months pro, but the dude had an extensive amateur career and a bunch of resources to help him along the way. He even had several fights without headgear in the WSB like 6 years ago against guys like Usyk.

For perspective Wilder has like 13 years total experience and didn't have half the resources Joyce had, he was still working like 2 jobs and taking care of his daughter in the amateurs which barely lasted like 2 years.

Joyce isn't that bad, I can see him beating like 90% of the division, but there is a massive gap in talent in that last 10%.

Joyce fights in quicksand. His managers would be smart to keep him away from anyone who has footspeed or handspeed.

If his next opponent is going to be a top 50 HW on somewhat short notice to get him experience, I'd pair him against Lucas Browne and then Charles Martin or even Marius Wach. Seems to be the career path he's on right now. That would be two-three low risk fights that would get him rounds and experience.

Yeah and they act like Wilder didn't duck the entire division for like 8 years

Joyce is one of the quickest heavyweights I've ever seen... last night he started throwing a punch and he'd managed to land it before I'd finished making myself some toast and a cup of tea.

The guy breaks the sound barrier every time he steps in the ring.

Is that how you guys rationalize things?

Wilder is s&@t though. Joyce and most other up and comers would have the same record as Wilder if they had fought the same opponents. He can get to 100-0 if he keeps fighting nobodies. Before you mention that Fury is NOT a nobody, that is a moot point because Wilder lost the fight.
