Is it me or does Joe Joyce fight in slow motion?

I’m just watching the fight now again and I’m bit drunk but it seems like Joyce is fighting in slow motion, like even I know what punch he is about to throw way before he even throws it and I don’t even know that much about the technical side of boxing.

It’s like he has some dumbbells attached to his arms or something.

Has anyone else noticed this? Surely this would be a massive problem when he fights tougher opposition. I can just imagine wilder detonating a big one two down the pipe whilst Joyce is still in the motion of throwing his first punch.

Why is he fighting so slow?

Sanchez trying to claim he's the new Foreman. Reminds me more of Margarito.

Yup, he's slow as f*k. Only a matter of time that he steps up to real comp and that flaw is quickly exploited. Oh that and his horrible defense.

Just a hype job right now. I don't usually say that but you can clearly see when a dude is getting a lot of attention and you watch them, see them getting tagged a lot, slow as f*k, mediocre power, etc. and you wondering the hell the hype is all about?

I have always thought he was slow and I never read of anyone calling him fast. I think you are making him out to be slower than he actually is. He can punch and take a punch and had no problem hitting Stiverne from the 1st round on. If his punches were as slow as you say they are his punches would have little power. His punches have some speed and snap to them and he scores KOs. His lack of speed probably will be a problem when he steps up to better competition. time will tell.

I was watching the fight too and I swore my stream was lagging with how slow the punches were coming.

Joyce will never be even a tenth as good as Foreman. Foreman was not slow and his punches had good speed and snap. Arum says he has the new Gypsy Foreman in Fury. Prime Foreman was a monster.
