I don't know about "top of the food chain" but at least he's relevant again. I don't think you can say the same for Degale any more. If he really wants to be top of the food chain though, he needs to be less difficult when it comes to negotiating fights, if anything I think that's his biggest flaw, even moreso than anything he does wrong in the ring.

Eubank looked the same he always does, one dimensional, looks good in spurts then does nothing, the jab is non existent and has no footwork all he does is walk forward... the next time he’s in there with a decent boxer it will be the groves fight all over again.... it was a poor performance from DeGale, looked the same as his last 3 fights, appears all those wars took there toll on him.... Groves really did outclass Eubank. If you watch the whole fight you get a different perspective on that one, it was pretty embarassing in spots for Eubank.

I've not seen this fight but for a once athletic fast awkward lefty like Degale to not come close to doing the same and getting outclassed himself, that's gotta be retirement time.

I'm a little bored of his hype and excuses. At least Eubank as annoying and amateurish as he is, engages and has power.

Yeah I feel like Eubanks at least takes his profession seriously so I respect that about him. I've never really watched much of DeGale but it seems like he has underwhelmed quite significantly in his last few fights so idk if he has anything left at this point.
