This isn't anything new. A top fighter beats someone when that someone is at their peak, then that someone loses their next fight or gets knocked out later.

Wilder's job was to take the title from him while he was a title holder and he did his job. He was placed in a situation to do it again and he did it again. What happens with Bermaine after that is not of Wilder's concern.

At this point, who cares who his run of 35+ fighters was. He recently beat Ortiz, fought Fury, may fight Fury again and soon Joshua.

No need to spend your energy trying to prove that Wilder's record isn't a who's who. We know that. Even fans like me. I'm more focused on where he is now, not his overweight, non-training leftovers.

As much as I disagree with the op that’s exactly what people say.

            Wilder basically wrecked Stiverne’s career.

Same thing happens when Ortiz fights someone with a pulse.

Wilder fans will never admit this, the guy who fought 40 cans in a row and they say Joshua is ducking, AJ who has basically unified the division in half the fights.

Wilder tried to cherry pick a half fit Fury and still needed the bribed judges to save him!!!!!
It took no hit. Joyce is a joke. Slow as molasses. Can't catch anyone off guard. Joshua or Wilder would knock him out in 3 rounds. Maybe earlier than that. Fury would box circles clean around him. Stiverne was a complete joke and Joyce couldn't even legitimately stop him. Pitiful.

Stiverne rolled out of bed for this fight, and Joyce couldn't even drop him.

                The haters need to relax.

Stopping Bermane never been any good Stiverne.

                  Deontay Wilder 13 rounds
                  Joe Joyce 6 rounds.

Depends how you look at it.

IF were being honest ,this Stiverne was more prepared then the one wilder fought ij 2018 and less time out of the ring. Was he actually fatter? Maybe but he also had traps much fuller that would indicate muscle .One cant just add 20 more pounds of fat because it would have been more pronounced all over. either way clearly he was planning on eating shots through girth to land a big one which he was able to do briefly.

Does this dent Wilder ? Not really ,not unless Stiverne can get a significant win on his resume . could Wilder have stopped this Stiverne ?

Sure but it wont be a 1st rounder. They both stop Stiverne in around 3 rounds if they fought him enough. What separate the two is actually miniscule besides Stivernes not able to press Joyce like wilder because the style clash wouldn't allow that. In no way would Stiverne be competitive with Joyce at any time.
