Tyson Fury is Only Interesting if He Fights Top Opponents

Arum is quite happy with his acquisition of Tyson Fury and it's obvious that if he wants a return on his investment he needs to pad Fury's resume with less than stellar fights... similar to whats been happening with Bud Crawford.

Putting Fury back in with Wilder knowing that there is a high possibility he might be KO'd does not bold well for Arum and Top Rank. So its obvious the goal is to take advantage of Fury's surge in popularity and milk his fans until they demand big fights.

The problem I see for Arum is that Fury is not interesting to watch unless he is in a fight with a dangerous opponent. I have seen about 5 of his fights and the only two I remember is Wilder and Klitschko and as far as I can tell his entire career is based on his unexpected performance in both of those contests. In other words nobody wants to see Fury fight mediocre competition, any fight like that will be and has been boring, fans will turn away, and Arum will lose money on this investment.

Either fight the big names or go away!

High possibility of being ko’d by wilder ? I think there’s a higher chance he outboxes wilder all 12 even more decisively than last time.

Let’s get real, that dude had two come back gimme fights and then gave wilder fits. My prediction is that he comes in even sharper and beats wilder.

He will take that right hand away once again, and wilder will do his best to land the Hail Mary.

But yes, I hope he doesn’t just take on typical bob arum trash opponents.
That’s why I was glad to see manny leave top rank. Geez even against Broner, it was nice to see him up against different type of opposition rather than facing mike Alvarado or the rest of top ranks opponents

The problem is Fury outclasses non elite fighters and fans get bored watching Fury effortlessly outbox the likes of Chisora etc. There's only a few fighters in the division capable of giving him a decent fight.

He is a big man without knockout power, I think that's the problem. He is not prime time without the right opponent
