Should he get credit? Serious question.

I would say, if Eubank gets a quick KO or ref stoppage - which I called out as one potential outcome - he should definitely get credit. DeGale's got a bad arm but it's not like he can't still go to war.

If it goes the distance EITHER WAY, you got to question whether Young Eubank belongs in the game.

I think Eubank is simply a brawler and the old degales style would have been murder for him. Now that James reflexes have diminished a bit it makes his defense significantly less effective bc he does not parry much. If Eubank can get home with combinations and fight at his desired range, which he hasn’t been able to in previous big tilts, he can win.

Prime DeGale wins this, but he was awful in his last performances. DeGale is a very talented boxer, I think he is much better than you normally "see". But he's incosistent. I'm not sure, but I think he isn't motivated enough. Which is fine, there are other things more important in your life than your boxing career.

He's at his best when he's motivated. If I had to pick one, I'd still pick him, maybe he trained well... He certainly wouldn't like losing to Eubank, based on what happened between them. Well, neither one can afford to lose really... Maybe we'll get a draw, it's not impossible.

              That's what I'm thinking.
