Corrales's Against Castillo And Benn's Against Mcclennan, I Would Say Those Are The Best Two Fights Of The Last 20 Yrs Not Just On Showtime But Anywhere.....Comment

Ones that come to mind:
Weaver-Tate.....John was easily outpointing "Hercules", only to have his first title defense end 15 seconds before the final bell, courtesy of one solitary left hook with everything on it from Mike.
LaMotta-Dauntille II....Jake was on the verge of losing his Middleweight Crown to the man he had lost to the year before when he feined exhaustion, suckering Laruant into opening up on him in the final round; and exploded off the ropes to hurt and stop the Frenchman with a mere 13 seconds to go.
Chavez-Taylor I....Julio and Meldrick fought toe to tow for 11 and a half rounds with Taylor's incredible speed building up a solid lead, however, Chavez' more powerful punches had sapped the strength of Taylor throughout the bout, causing him to swallow nearly a pint of his own blood and to suffer a broken orbital bone around his left eye (I think)....then, with a mere 23 seconds left in the fight that would surely bring an end to Chavez's incredible win streak, Julio lands thunder with the right and chases Meldrick into a corner where he lands it again. While Taylor was able to reach his feet by the count of 6, he fails to respond to Referee Richard Steel's question and Steele calls a halt to the bout with only 2 seconds to go.
Those are my votes.Last edited by K-DOGG; 07-12-2006, 10:53 AM.Comment
