Do you consider that taking your sport seriously? He was out of shape for the 2nd Wilder fight, scaled 254 and looked slow and awful and got blasted out in less than a round. He’s now put on an additional 20 pounds of fat for this fight. It’s not a bodybuilding contest, but it’s also painfully obvious when someone doesn’t put in the time or effort in training to get ready for a fight and that is just bad for boxing. That’s how fighters get seriously hurt.

You are both correct. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

Stiverne tipped the scales at a career-high 273 pounds.
      I called it!

It’s tragic someone gets paid to go in their without training

If Stiverne trained and would had made an effort, this could be a good undercard fight, but it doesn't seem to be the case. I put small money on Joyce to win in 1-3 rounds.

That was his pro debut, to be fair. And Ian Lewinson is a very tough debut fight

Given stivernes best impersonation of a blancmanage this wont be very pretty to watch. However i'm still looking forward to seeing joyce take him out in brutal fashion in round 2.
