It's not a lie when nearly everyone scored the fight for Fury. Hell, even those nutters on YT who favour no one but black Americans scored the fight for Fury.

It's the same thing when it comes to Lewis/Holyfield or Chavez/Whitiker. Both were scored draws, but everyone knows who actually won the fight.

Fury's own dad said he was thankful for the draw, especially after the 2 knockdowns. Fury didn't have a hope of knocking wilder down even if there were 100 rounds. Lewis v holyfield is not a accurate comparison as there were no knockdowns and Lewis was robbed.
They need a rematch but Fury has felt the power and is chickening out

Before Ortiz/Wilder was signed Wilder fans said Ortiz was an old man who had never beaten anyone and would get brutally murdered by Wilder.

Ortiz is leagues above Stiverne in punching power. Stiverne had a lot of punch resistance nor did I expect Joyce to work as much against Bermaine. Kauffman would’ve gave Joyce a better fight than Stiverne. Stiverne didn’t do anything in this fight, and therefore imho Ortiz would be too much for Joyce.

Of COURSE it is your opinion, and it is all good. I love me some Ortiz. Have been on his bandwagon for a long time. Thought that the war with Wilder was a blast that Ortiz was winning.

But Usyk's handlers listed Ortiz as fighters they wanted within the first year or so to work up to a title shot with AJ. To my knowledge, there was never a "call out" in a sense that you are referring to. I was only saying that until Usyk (who I have been a defender of almost as long as Ortiz) fights at HW a few times, it is really hard to say he is ducking a HW. Personally, I hope and pray that Usyk's people are smart enough NOT to start at HW with Ortiz. Let Usyk get a tune-up and training camp at HW first. Please.


Also not debating your facts. Only that by this point, if Ortiz has only had one real top level fight, he and his handlers have to own some of that. He has been around to long to be completely dodged. Some of these other fighters that have not mixed it up with Ortiz (I really love a Whyte showdown idea) do have better resumes, so it is hard to say Whyte and Joshua are ducking.

Ortiz needs some real fights soon. I think he is reaching that point of no return, so I hope Hammer is the last before he gets a top 10 HW.

Ortiz can’t make them fight, they have to agree and why would they when they can fight the golden goose AJ or the more dangerous but vulnerable Wilder who has a belt!

Ortiz only hope is get ranked back into AJ’s mandatories which will be tough since he’s all but gone in most of the rankings for all of AJ’s belts!
