By Cliff Rold - Every era could have had a fight it didn't. It's true even of the most fondly recalled. Ask most longtime boxing fans about the greatest eras at heavyweight and it won't take long for the 1970s or 1990s to dominate the conversation. Both featured rare depth and countless memorable encounters. Decad...

wow an Article without an agenda and twisting of facts , with someone with sense. That's a rarity. the heavyweight division is young, its not AJ's fault wilder has dragged his decade long career to a slow dull pace and just now fought top guys. Its indeed the AJ era where its the Wilders and Furys who have to decide ,do they really want to fight this man ? If not it wont matter to Joshua theres plenty of guys on the horizon and I see this era spanning well into 2025 .

An average article. Reducing the Joshua-Fury fight to a stadium event shows the ignorance, or is it bias?, of the writer.

Wilder-Fury II was all but made until Arum inserted himself into the picture.

If it doesn't come about in a timely fashion now then good ol' Bob just ruined another good thing that boxing fans were looking forward to.

Just like with Floyd vs Pac.

The REAL question is: does Tyson Fury want to fight Deontay Wilder NEXT or does he want to take a lighter touch?

The ball's in his court. If he's game, the rematch can happen on ESPN because Wilder is not tied to any network. If not, he will have effectively killed the rematch buzz and Wilder will move on. Wilder has many options: Whyte in the UK, an Ortiz rematch, a Braezaele mandatory, Kownacki if he wants it.

Then at the end of the year, Wilder can either have a rematch with Fury or an undisputed fight with Joshua, provided they all win their interim fights...
