Ggg fans defended him for years on why he was fighting tomato can mandatories. He wants all the belts, unify MW division. Now the belts don’t matter lol. Can’t make this up

He was robbed of his titles though. He's 37 now.

I have become disillusioned with boxing, boxing, there is so much corruption ... the sport has been lost in the thirst for money ... I can not believe that GGG would not have won in that first match with Canelo when even a blind man saw that he won ... the rematch, it was really closed, there would have been a draw ... but no, because Canelo is supposed to be the most selling, favor it ... there is no denying that Canelo is a great boxer who. but they have given him 3 or 4 decisions that he did not deserve .... boxing is more and more disgusting .....

""I think the sport itself and the way the organizations function, it's almost impossible at this stage of his career to go back and search for the four belts" - Abel Sanchez

I can't fault him for chasing great fights at this point of his career. That being said, he is literally 2 fights away of having all four belts: a win vs Andrade followed by a win vs Canelo or Jacobs. A tough ask but the path to all four belts is simple, clear and filled with money.

Of course, once you actually get all 4 belts, the sanctioning bodies will come for you!

Didn't say they don't matter. Said at this stage of his career with the political landscape as it stands...it would be almost impossible to achieve total unification. You can't have all the belts if once you earn them...they are taken off you outside of the ring.
