Will Arum and Haymon ever work together?

Fury-Wilder negotiations are ongoing and both sides have shown some optimism a deal can still be made.

If the rematch happens, surely this opens doors for other incredible Bob/Al crossover matchups like Crawford-Spence, Loma-Mikey etc.

I’m probably writing this out of hope more than expectation but will the two biggest power brokers in boxing actually be able to work together?

they have worked together. gaymon has no problem having his fighters fight arum's fighters. molina and diaz fought crawford. arum sent lomachenko and gvozdyk over to showtime.

That's what I said the day Fury announced the ESPN deal. Maybe this opens up Spence/Crawford. But seems like Arum is hell bent on just having it on ESPN so I need to see it to believe it.

      One can hope though!

i hope im wrong and this rematch gets made next....if it does i will come back to say im wrong for sure

but yesterday bob is out there talking about "wed like to have it later in the year"...then comes out "were going to make a great offer...were still hoping it can be next"

its typical bob....the same guy that once put a countdown clock on the TR website for floyd to answer to....cept he never sent floyd anything lol.....they even asked arum "what concessions was pac willing to make this time"....bobs response "oh i cant get into that"...lol

this is the same guy that jerked floyd around and then walked away and magically had a clottey fight in dallas ready to go just when "negotiations" broke down...lol...im sure some will spin it as bob being "prepared"...oh he was prepared alright...prepared to make that fight the whole time

bob is mad that haymon wouldnt let him use danny garcia to build crawfords name...funny that arum goes straight for als lowest hanging WW fruit....danny is the weakest link of als big four welters...and when he couldnt get him he got mad....hes also still a bit bitter about how big of a star floyd became with haymon and without him

Yeah I’m hopeful that ESPN and Showtime are much more willing to collaborate than HBO and Sho were

I’m talking more major collaboration’s like May-Pac. Not one fighter fighting on the opposing network.

Not only that, but the times Arum sent his guys to SHO in the examples he used were on purse bid fights.

Molina/Diaz/etc were lower level Haymon fighters that went to HBO.

Fury vs Wilder and Crawford vs Spence are two legitimate A side type of match ups. Different animal.

Of course I’m not you dope. I’m comparing them as it’s a big fight that involves a major asset for either stable
