wilder is a network free agent no excuses!

wilder said he could fight anywhere! he fights fury or it will be a duck on his part. wilder knows he lost the first fight. he needs this more than fury! fury is getting paid. which is got to be tearing wilder up inside.

Wilder is under the PBC banner who deal with Showtime and Fox. He doesn't have an exclusive deal like many of other fighters do who fight on different networks. Neither Loma or Crawford have an exclusive deal with ESPN, they are signed to Top Rank which means they can fight ofo ESPN, but its TRs job to provide ESPN with fights just likes its PBCs job to provide Fox and Showtime with fights which means they want their marquee fighters to fight on their network. There's only a handful of fighters who are exclusive to a network, most aren't and their promoter uses that excuse to not let them fight of their network. Wilder could fight Fury on ESPN just like both Loma and Crawford can fight Spence/Mikey on Showtime or Fox.

Fury didn't sign an exclusive contract with ESPN, he sign a co promotional contract with TR. He like Wilder can fight on any network... it's PBC and TR that have exclusive deals with the networks and want their marquee fighters to fight on their networks.

if wilder fights on espn he gives up control over picking the judges among other important a-side advantages. thats the most important thing in boxing and one doesnt give them up lightly
