Wilder should take the ESPN deal

no....wilder would be guaranteed one fight against either AJ or wilder....unless he were to get upset before that.....and then he could get knocked out by AJ or beaten by fury
the same applies for fury...he could fight pulev and then get viciously ko'd by wilder or aj...or just beaten...and then that guy moves on to fight the other guy..and that could be the end of the lineComment

no contract is guaranteed for losses. But Wilder would be guaranteed at least one more Fury fight if not two. He can lose to Fury and still get a third fight too.no....wilder would be guaranteed one fight against either AJ or wilder....unless he were to get upset before that.....and then he could get knocked out by AJ or beaten by fury

Since you are stating Fury doesn’t have a $100 million contract I’m asking you what his minimum purse is. That’s the true value of his contract.
For instance Wilder made anot 3 million for Ortiz. I bet Wilder can get his minimum more than double that on espn.Comment

Lol just cause you don't watch AJ don't mean he isn't charismatic, his way more likeable marketable humble confidence . Majority of the time Wilder just comes across that kid always trying to prove something by running his mouth and saying lifes unfair when he hasn't put in the work like the other kids. Wilder came across likeable in a couple interviews with BT when he was just being chilled out goofball (meant as a complement) but he just alienates himself when he makes excuses or plays the racecard every now and then despite the most successful boxers not being white.hes known as well as any other american fighter...its not a wilder problem...its a us/boxing problem...its not as popular as it was in the early 90s....
if wilder were a UK olympian hed be in the same spot as AJ...and vice versa for AJ...lets not act like AJ is so special and charismatic.....you switch where theyre from and theyre both in the opposite situation
Also let's not also pretend that Wilder would have definitelymade it threw AJ's opponents when he has been getting outclassed by Spzilka and punched up by Molina.Comment

No one fighter has an exclusive deal with ESPN. Fury has no deal with ESPN. He has co promotional deal with TR not ESPN. It's TR who has an exclusive deal with ESPN just like PBC had with Fox/Showtime, like GB and Matchroom have with DAZN. Only a handful of fighters have exclusive deals with networks right now.Deontay Wilder's patience has paid off.
At some point today, Bob Arum is going to send Wilder a massive television package, one that includes exposure, big bucks, television appearances, the type of shine that creates a superstar.
In effect, it's the deal he has bled for, the deal he has fought for, the deal that is at the end of every boxing rainbow.
CBS/Showtime has not taken care of Wilder, they have not put the same promotional might behind the WBC champion that they put behind Floyd, even when his conduct in the ring, and his amazing fight with Fury justifies it.
After that huge fight, the buzz, the surprising PPV butyrate, where the f8$k was Wilder's big deal?
Showtime dropped the ball, they took him for granted, he is a an undefeated knockout artist HW champion with a great personality, he should have already been a star.
Arum set the market with Fury, and Fury has no belts, Wilder should ask for $100 million, with a $5 million dollar bonus for every belt he unifies, including the lineal title, plus at least 30% of the PPV buy upside on big shows. lets say 5 fights, including the eventual AJ fight.
Wilder and Fury are such big commodities at this point, that they can force any HW not named AJ to fight on ESPN, so the civil war in boxing won't really matter.
I know people hate Arum, I know it would be a blow to the PBC, but Wilder has a chance to be the undisputed champion of the world, and be a star on America's most important sports network, this is a deal he CANNOT pass up, it will only help him during the eventual AJ negotiations.
Unless DAZN offers him $200 million, he HAS to take this deal, Showtime/Fox won't be able to give Wilder the type of Canelo/AJ/Fury deal he is looking for.Comment

ive seen more than enough of both AJ and wilderLol just cause you don't watch AJ don't mean he isn't charismatic, his way more likeable marketable humble confidence . if wilder was born in the UK and had a british accent and was a UK gold medalist hed be in the same exact position as AJ....if AJ were born in america and a US bronze medalist hed be in the exact same position as wilder
its the cold hard truth
pretending otherwise is just foolish nationalism....in fact the last time a US fighter actually broke through and captivated an audience he acted like a jackass for the cameras.....AJ isnt charismatic...ive seen him...ive watched his doc before the klitschko fight on netflix...and seen many interviews with AJ....hes fairly dull
good fighter....marketable enough...but nothing special...he'd be wilder if he were american.....but keep waving your pom poms...youf inferiority complex doesnt show at all! youre hiding it so well lolComment

These guys have no clue. Arum wouldn't even pay Manny $20 million to fight Crawford but he's going to pay Fury that much when Manny is still a bigger name and draw. People believe he's going to get $20 million to fight Pulev or Jennings when none of those fights will bring in that revenue.fury doesnt have any deal without wilder and AJ....those fights, and furys take of them, are estimated into that figure....without them he doesnt make that
you think top rank and espn are going to pay fury 100 mil to fight pulev, jennings, joyce, ortiz and whyte? hahaha ...nope
you guys arent understanding what this deal is or how it works.....fury doesnt have 100 mil guaranteed.....its not happening without wilder and aj....and he could get knocked out by whichever one he fights first and that will not helpComment

You do know that Manny's contractual purses were always around the 6-8 million range right? His guarantees of 20 million came from revenue and PPV sales. Arum didn't want guarantee Manny to 20 million to fight Crawford because the money wasn't there. Manny wasn't bringing in the same money as before. But yet you believe they are going to be giving Fury a $20 million purse every fight? No fight without Wilder or Fury will give Fury $20 million, no other fights will bring in enough revenue.no contract is guaranteed for losses. But Wilder would be guaranteed at least one more Fury fight if not two. He can lose to Fury and still get a third fight too.
