Stiverne and then someone like Kauffman before the Ortiz fight? Joyce doesn't have much time to waste with his age. I think that would be a solid plan before getting to Ortiz.

I think 2 or 3 fights then he should. Maybe at the end of the year.

There's no reason why he can't be fighting 3-4 times a year at this stage and get up to the big fights by next year at the latest.

It's true. There are at least a couple of levels between the likes of Kiladze and Ortiz. Stiverne is a good step-up, provided he turns up fighting fit, and they could do another fight or two like that before facing Ortiz at the end of the year. That would still be a really brisk pace of development
