chris....stop letting your dislike/hate for wilder cloud your judgement
100 mil? 80 mil? do you think fury is ever seeing that without fighting wilder and AJ? answer that
I think we both know the answer
fury might get overpaid short term for some fights like pulev or whoever....because they will hope to recoup and make money later with wilder/aj.....
this is all about bob arum...and we know this.....if haymon went to arum and said "lets make spence/Crawford I got a fair deal for you"....we all know what bob would say..."its not big enough yet....gotta wait till its a big event..both guys aren't big enough yet".....same if he offered an active and sharp looking Thurman
but what bob does is go after al's low hanging fruit...Garcia is now als weakest link of his name brand WW's....so arum is out there talking about offers he made to danny trying to get him.....but danny is the weakest link by far out of Thurman, porter and spence
if wilder is easy work like everyone says he is and what everyone claims fury made him look like....then its easy....stay on your feet...outbox wilder again....and that 80-100 mil is still there
but make no mistake fury wants an easy payday or two before having to get cold****ed like that again.....otherwise wed be getting the rematch......the wilder/fury rematch is right there in front of us....and all the glory and money is waiting for fury on the other end
he just doesn't feel too great about getting passed it....which is why hed rather take espn/TR money now before potentially getting cashed out
stop throwing that big figure out there like its all guaranteed...its like an nfl contract....only about 1/3rd is guaranteed.....if fury got knocked out by pulev you think hes getting 100 mil? lol....that contract has wilder/AJ fights built into the reported figure.....they didn't just walk up and guarantee fury 80 mil no matter who he fights lol........sooner or later hes gonna have to answer the wilder question.....the biggest question is why not now?
I think we know that answer tooComment

We'll see. It's possible Wilder rejects the fight. It would be biased to always think your guy is the one who's always in the right.chris....stop letting your dislike/hate for wilder cloud your judgement

“Deontay Wilder himself said that as far as networks are concerned, he is a free agent,” Arum noted Wednesday morning on ESPN’s Sportscenter. “Today. we are sending out an offer to Deontay Wilder, which will also go to his manager Shelly Finkel and his adviser Al Haymon making this offer—which is a tremendous one—to do the fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.”
It sounds like they are making an offer and if the offer is at least equal to what Wilder made in fight I and he rejects this fight on ESPN then that IMO is a clear duck. Arum sounds confident that it's a better offer than what Wilder has made previously and Wilder himself can't use a network excuse after bragging to be "free".Comment

Ahhhh...neglecting the comment arum already made about wanting to wait till later in the year are we?We'll see. It's possible Wilder rejects the fight. It would be biased to always think your guy is the one who's always in the right.

Classic arum double talk
This is all a power play by arum to interject himself and say "hey Al I'm here now and I'm getting a piece of ur fight".....
Arum wants his low hanging ww fruit for Crawford but if Al offered Spence arum would cry "not big enough yet"
Arum sees Wilder building momentum and a profile and he wants to get in the way or get a piece to spite Al.....it's obvious
Wilder fought Ortiz and fury and wants to do fury now again....why arum talking later in the year? Why fury talking about his health ?
Fury and wildsr were on an easy course to make it it till Bob decided he wanted to throw money around to block it
But make no mistake....fury ain't getting 15 mil apiece to fight pulev Jennings Joe Joyce Whyte and ortiz.....he's gonna have to fight Wilder or aj sooner or later.....but it's obvious he wants a Payday or two before it otherwise it would already be doneComment

We'll see. If Finkel confirms they received an offer from Arum that's equal to or greater than what he made last time then will you concede it's a duck?Ahhhh...neglecting the comment arum already made about wanting to wait till later in the year are we?

I don't know what he's making for Jennings or whoever but I'm sure it's more than Wilder's ever made in a fight. Fury has the 2nd best contract in the division, 3rd in the sport. If they receive an offer and it's confirmed as equal or greater than Wilder's last purse it's clear Fury's intention is Wilder II otherwise, why make the great offers?
Fury is the lineal champion which Wilder fans couldn't stop bringing up pre-fight, he won the first fight and he has a better contract and Wilder is a free agent. Wilder will be receiving a great offer today which is equal or greater than his best ever offer so if he doesn't accept then I think it's fair to chalk it up as a duck.Comment

Arum can say they're gonna make a fair offer ...and Wilder can tell u he's a free agent....all they wantWe'll see. If Finkel confirms they received an offer from Arum that's equal to or greater than what he made last time then will you concede it's a duck?

It's no different than Wilders side talking to Warren thinking they're close only have furys side pull this and then admit Wilder had no clue about this ESPN deal....which is what happened
Arum just yesterday said he'd rather wait till end of the year....that's a tell tale sign ...u need not go any further .....
They can say they're making offers and Wilder can say he's a free agent....but when arum says "we couldn't reach a deal in time so we had to move on"(classic promoter line) none of what either side said will matter
We've seen arum pull it with pac floyd when Floyd thought he was negotiating only to have road blocks put up and then say "oh we're fighting clottey in dallas"....then arum dragged it out further with his fake countdown clock to an offer that never made or ever existedComment

I think he should be allowed to have a pass. Let people have their heroes. They are still calling him undefeated and that simply is not true. Canelo was harshly criticized to the point some people turned on him and he tested positive for low traces, the amounts in both Fury were nearly triple of what Canelo had in his system.
Should his record be updated correctly and why hasn’t it?Comment

You can tell us it's great fury makes more than Wilder....but Al won't lose money on Wilder....Wilder gets market value.....if fury gets 10 to fight pulev that's over market value and Bob is hoping to recoup later on....fury on ESPN against pulev ain't worth 10 mil...fury doesn't have that kind of draw and he's not overly exciting.....u keep talking about his contract but that contract isn't worth much till he faces Wilder or aj......so what is his contract without them? It's overpaid over market value.....and why do u think Bob's willing to? To spite AlWe'll see. If Finkel confirms they received an offer from Arum that's equal to or greater than what he made last time then will you concede it's a duck?
