Whenever I played sports growing up, no matter which one, the only non-sideline voices/comments that made me cringe and want to yell 'Go Home!' were those of family members. I don't know why it bothered me, they weren't embarassing or unpresentable or anything, but I hated whenever any of them came to games and made noticeable noise. And you know how when you play sports and make a nice play or a glaring mistake how you somehow can hear what spectators are actually commenting about you specifically as opposed to just the sea of noise that you hear the rest of the game? Whenever a family member said something in one of those moments it made me feel like every single person there heard them too and that much more attention was on me. Dammit man!Comment
