I can name any fighter on the pound for pound list who’s taken a worse fight than Crolla in the last couple years.
Actually I did see commey Vs Easter, and I had it a draw, and it doesn't matter how you wanna slice it or sugar coat it, Robert Easter "officially" beat commey, Richard commey is Easters leftover's and he's not p4p worthy opponent, end of story.. And loma Vs pedraza was no wash, lomachenko struggled more than he should have, he was supposed to stop pedraza earlier and easier than tank Davis did,

He wasn’t. Most folks said it would go the distance. Also it being his first fight after major surgery is important also was the fact Pedraza was off for a long time before Davis.

So everyone with a “loss” is leftovers? Sometimes fighters improve, sometimes they learn. Not every loss is a career death sentence. That’s a casuals/Mayweather fanboys view of the sport.

So Mayweather never fought leftovers? So Hearns, Duran, Robinson, Ali, Leonard, Jones, Chavez, Whitaker, Oscar, etc, etc, etc, never fought leftovers???

It's a mandatory and he's looking to unify the division so it's understandable. What's not understandable is when you have some #1 contenders waiting years for a shot and people b*tch about it but then b*tch about Crolla getting a shot. Do you want #1 contenders to get their shots or not? I get it he's the number 1 p4p but if he doesn't want to get stripped...

People just like to *****. The simple fact is there's not much available for April. Garcia is busy and with PBC, Commey is hurt, Easter is with PBC and Crolla is his mandatory, so it is what it is. Lightweight is not very top heavy, I'm not sure who else they want him to fight. There is some good young talent on the way up. Hopefully after Crolla, Loma goes with Commey mid summer for his belt, and maybe Teofimo at the end of '19. That gives Lopez a couple more fights to get ready for Loma and will still be before Teofimo plans to move to 140 in early 2020.
