Comments Thread For: Arum: We Don't Need WBC To Dictate Wilder-Fury Rematch Purses

The WBC twice has postponed the purse bid for the immediate rematch it ordered between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury. So are the wilder haters going to say Tyson did this unusual co promotion deal as a way to duck wilder?. .....bob seems to be talking like he doesn't want it to happen...

Damn the thought of it , Shelly Finkel and Bob Arum around the negotiating table thrashing out a deal with a combined age of 200 years and plenty of bottles of Baby oil for refreshments

These boxing organization should stay-away from and conduct an election for a new leader.

Bob has this uncanny ability of making you realise straight away that negotiations are not going to be easy. A 19th century kill joy

            60-40 to Wilder isn't fair.

Bob better hope Hearn to a deal with him..if not he will lose alot of money. 80 million deal with Fury and has no title...Wilder and Joshua will just make everything a purse bid and Fury will have to accept or not get a title shot..

It seems like if they want Wilder's belt and they want him to fight on their platform, he deserves a higher percentage. No way Wilder takes 50/50. I don't see this fight happening anytime soon.

It seems like that main sticking point is the 60-40 split in Wilder's favor. Team Fury likely wanted a 50-50 split and will negotiate for one.
