I mentioned a few days ago that he would chase the winner of Eubanks vs Degale. BJS is content with creating a legacy as a champ who made mandatory defenses and now he has the chance of adding a second division to his resume. He will only step up or unify if it is absolutely the right opportunity. Much like his fight vs lemeiux. If he wins this strap he’ll do much of the same as he did at 160. He’s managing a very calculated career.

After he got busted with his nasal spray no way he was cutting the 40 lbs he normally does.. off to 168 without the spray.

Happy for BJS this is a great career move and Andrade obviously didn't want that smoke. Hope he wins the strap and gets some big fights at 168.

“Golovkin would beat you and I on the same night.” -BJS

But wants winner of... why not call out Golovkin for the 168 strap? BJS is a phony.

Andrade was willing to make the fight twice, Saunders wasn't.

I don't think it would be advisable for him to face Smith.

I agree with you but I think Golden Boy were hoping they could get a close decision in the Lemieux fight. I won’t be surprised if he moves back down if someone good gets to WBO number 1 at SMW after Frank runs out of bums to feed him

Yup. That’s the absolute truth. He’ll shoot back to 160 if 68 gets scary. The one advantage for him at 68 is that the UK has a lot of guys in the division. But at his age and at this point of his career he’s only making calculated decisions. His performances are so hot and cold from fight to fight and he’s so inactive. He can’t afford to fight a certified beast.
