BILLY JOE SAUNDERS describes the prospect of fighting for the WBO super middleweight world title against Shefat Isufi as the beginning of a new chapter in his always colourful career. The unbeaten former WBO middleweight champion will bid to become a two-weight world champion on April 13 at The SSE Arena, Wembley live on BT Sport, in a fight that he hopes will unlock the door towards the marquee encounters he has long craved.

Billy Joe Steroids only faces certain styles, fighters who are slower and have concrete feet. There was never any way he'd fight Andrade, and he'll never fight the rangy powerful Smith. He might well fight Eubank again though. I imagine hes hoping he beats Degale despite what he says. Then they can do a few defences, maybe a double header, before the superfight rematch 😂

Super middle seems a strange move for BJS, doesn’t really have the frame or punch and always seemed to make weight comfortably. The bigger fights seemed to be at middle too. Odd all round.

That's not a "strange move". That's him fleeing the division like everybody else.

Nobody is afraid to fight Canelo, NOBODY. Even those who are pretty sure they will lose. Fighting Canelo is the prize and the reason for ducking tough fights in order to keep a pristine record.

He can only make weight comfortably if he’s allowed oxilofrine.

He walks around at about 14 stone and has been terrible in every fight where he’s been cutting weight.
