Comments Thread For: Warren: Miller Easy Fight For Joshua, Fury Had Him Down 7 Times!

Frank Warren isn't usually complimentary of Anthony Joshua and his opponents. That's an accepted part of the boxing business for rival promoters in the United Kingdom, where Warren represents lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Eddie Hearn works with Joshua. Warren is especially leery of Jarrell Miller, though, and his chances of truly testing Joshua in their heavyweight championship match June 1 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Fury says he had him down 7 times, chance of that being true 0%. Fury isn't a big puncher and no camp would let a sparring partner get dropped 7 times.

Miller is not an easy fight for AJ, Miller can probably beat Fury as well

I highly doubt he dropped him 7 times. Fury isn't exactly dropping fighters at above average HW level or anything and Miller has shown to be much more than just average.

I'm on board, just not with the last part. Fury would easily out box Miller in my opinion.

Lol and Dillian Whyte said he was knocking Fury all over the gym in sparring so does that mean Fury's easy work for AJ as well?

I think 7 times is a stretch. Why didn't anyone stop it after the 3rd of 4th knock down?? Did they think Miller had a chance to be competitive after that many knock downs?

7 times is nonsense they would stop them from sparring by the third knockdown let alone 7 lol

Miller is definitely tougher than Gypsy's next opponent. That for sure.
