Don't get too carried away, Rob Brant's team haven't spoken a word about Horn, it's all team Horn hype trying to keep their golden goose relevant. 3 weeks ago he was fighting Kel Brook, then it was a Pacquiao rematch, last week he was fighting Tim Tzysu, Kostya's boy. Each time the Aussie media lap it up and write articles purely on what team Horn says. Why hasn't anyone contacted Rob Brant to ask him if he would consider fighting Horn. Brant said after his last win that he wants to fight the best middleweights not fringe welterweights. Can't see it hapening.

The Horn sourced publicity is for domestic consumption and fans, it's local sports news and is best treated as such.

On the possible fight, Brant has signed with Top Rank but has no fights arranged at present so there is time available if Brant wants it. The present discussions are with Bob Arum who was involved in both the Packy and Crawford fights so there is that, I guess that if a deal can be put together Arum will offer it to Brant.
