Well, if he's not under contract then there should be no problem. Will Al be willing to work with Bob and vice versa though? I hope so. I just hope this fight hasn't been torpedoed yet. The fact that it was ordered by the WBC should hopefully help force the matter.

its not about shunning anybody its the simple fact that wilder is a free agent and he is legally allowed to fight on any network. trying to include showtime will only complicate things and won't even be worth it financially. if showtime loved him so much why did they not try and lock him up with an exclusive contract. espn did it with fury and gave him 20 mil a fight.
Wilder is on the cusp of being a PPV fighter, with or without Fury/Joshua. Flying without a paper guarantee is risky, but Wilder controls his own fate, owns his own show, and can reap as many rewards as his ability will get him (if the Alvarez deal is any precedent, Fury's $20m per fight deal would go up in smoke the moment Wilder were to smoke him anyway).
Arum is a Jonny-come-lately, trying to jump in after someone else (Showtime particularly) took all of the upfront risk.Comment

There’s an interview with Espinoza about this in regards to DAZN on TBV. I’d imagine their feelings are even stronger now.Comment

Wilder is the champion, though, not Fury. Wilder says he's free to fight anywhere, but he's also made it absolutely clear that he's still calling the shot. If Fury agrees to the terms, they have a fight; if not, Wilder moves on to the next, and Arum is left explaining to ESPN why they're paying $20m to broadcast Fury vs Tom Schwartz (or some other random WBO contender).

there's a difference between knocking someone down and knocking someone out. you think wilder is suddenly going to become a better boxer than fury and outbox him. fury showed he was clearly in a higher class than wilder. he showed he can recover from wilder's best punches. LOL and this was the fat out of shape fury. wilder is doomed in the rematch.Comment

Let's see if Wilder actually man's up and keeps his promises for once.Comment
