Well, if he's not under contract then there should be no problem. Will Al be willing to work with Bob and vice versa though? I hope so. I just hope this fight hasn't been torpedoed yet. The fact that it was ordered by the WBC should hopefully help force the matter.

Wilder is the champion, though, not Fury. Wilder says he's free to fight anywhere, but he's also made it absolutely clear that he's still calling the shot. If Fury agrees to the terms, they have a fight; if not, Wilder moves on to the next, and Arum is left explaining to ESPN why they're paying $20m to broadcast Fury vs Tom Schwartz (or some other random WBO contender).

Wilder is on the cusp of being a PPV fighter, with or without Fury/Joshua. Flying without a paper guarantee is risky, but Wilder controls his own fate, owns his own show, and can reap as many rewards as his ability will get him (if the Alvarez deal is any precedent, Fury's $20m per fight deal would go up in smoke the moment Wilder were to smoke him anyway).

Arum is a Jonny-come-lately, trying to jump in after someone else (Showtime particularly) took all of the upfront risk.

Fury fought the fight of his life, and still got clipped, lol.

And I’m not denying what he’s saying is true. I just doubt he’d do that to showtime.

There’s an interview with Espinoza about this in regards to DAZN on TBV. I’d imagine their feelings are even stronger now.

what network its on shouldn't matter to wilder that's not his problem that's your masters problem. if it means having to fight on espn to secure the biggest fight of his life he should do it. he knows this that's why he's come out and stated that he's a free agent and can fight on ANY NETWORK.
he needs stop being a puppet and let his quote unquote advisor know he works for wilder's best interest not showtime fox or whoever else.

So sad indeed. So sad that US networks a throwing bucket loads of cash at UK heavyweights to get star attractions because they can't find any in the US of A.

Not when the WBC have mandated that Fury is Wilder's next fight. Wilder cannot walk away from that without losing his title... only Fury can. So no Wilder isn't remotely calling the shots.

LOL and this was the fat out of shape fury. wilder is doomed in the rematch.

Because of what they said ? Wilders team have been caught lying on numerous occasions before! Their words mean nothing, actions speak louder than words.

Let's see if Wilder actually man's up and keeps his promises for once.
