People need to stop taking boxrec rankings so serious. They use a computerized points system. They won't take into account how shot a fighter is, or if he's drained/too high in weight, robbed, etc. It's a good general guide, but not to have so much weight in it.

People should criticize it with corruption or incompetence with saying that.

Their Top 10/20 doesn't even bother me. What bothers me is when you got Terence Crawford higher on a ranking than Mike McCallum. It's like really? There's just no metric for it.

Your right in that they should be a guide but generally speaking they are the most accurate of all the rankings in my view
