With the Fury fight basically dead in the water, who will Wilder be left to fight? AJ and Miller fight on June 1st. Whyte and Breazeale are supposed to fight soon for the mandatory position. Fury will fight a Top Rank heavyweight like Pulev, Jennings and the like. Ortiz and Parker both have fights in the next month or 2 so that leaves Kownacki, Kabayel or Pulev and Pulev will not risk his #1 IBF ranking to fight Wilder. So I don't see another fight that Wilder can make, except a fight with Kownacki. For about 1 million. That's a far cry from the 20 million he would have made against AJ for all the belts. The worst part about the Fury announcement is, neither Wilder nor his team knew anything about it haha. That means Fury and his team played them the whole time...
So,... who does Wilder fight now?

Whyte, Breazeale, Kownacki and Ortiz I could all see as possibilities. It just depends on who decides to fight who. -
He won't fight Ortiz again. Breazeale and Whyte will be in a purse bid soon. Kownacki is his only option. and I honestly think Kownacki can beat him.Comment

An Ortiz rematch would carry a lot of risk for sure. I'm not sure the situation on the Whyte Breazeale purse bid though. Breazeale is Wilder's mandatory and its possible that he could just choose to face Wilder for the full title instead of Whyte.Comment

They can just switch out Breazaele out with someone like Ortiz or Konawcki. Not like it changes how quick Whyte would get a shot at Wilder. Still gives him same benefit. Besides, it was probably ordered because they assumed WilderFury2 was happeningComment
