If he chooses not to fight Fury on ESPN that's his choice. Nothing is stopping him.Comment

The moment Fury signed with Arum, the fight was off. Arum and Haymon don't get along, and Haymon won't allow Wilder to fight on another network like that, anyway. Just like Hearn won't allow Joshua to fight on another network. And, now, just like ESPN won't allow Fury to go to Showtime or DAZN.
The heavyweight division just froze in another Mayweather-Pacquiao-type situation. And this was Fury's choice. It's clear he ducked Wilder. I don't even say it to insult him, because I understand the fear of losing and not being able to be healthy afterwards, but it is what it is.Comment

"I’m a free agent. I don’t necessarily have to fight on the networks that I’m on, I can fight anywhere."

It's not happening, man. It's Arum and Haymon. Wilder's keeping the door open, but the reality is that these fights aren't happening in the near future. It's Mayweather-Pacquiao all over again now.Deontay Wilder was asked whether he'd fight Tyson Fury on ESPN:

Agreed but I give him credit for at least getting in the ring and fought Wilder!
AJ on the other hand pulled out every trick in the book and then some to not fight Wilder and now he’s fighting a guy who literally has fought no one but trash talked his way to a title shot!
The problem with all of this is that Fury maximized leverage off of the Wilder fight to get that ESPN deal and that was just 1 fight!
Wilder should leverage PBC to pay him or go to ESPN!Comment

damn man....wilder really punched the fear of god into fury
i like fury...but its obvious now...him sitting there talking about his health and all that....he knows exactly what signing with espn does to this rematch
if hes as good as he thinks he is he takes the wilder fight and wins it and then still get mega money...its clear that signing the espn deal is a way out and a way to make money at the same time
fury thinks he won the first fight....and his fans claim the same...he could have "won easily" again and still got big money....this is a way outComment

nope.
Wilder won ring generalship. Wilder did more damage. Wilder was landing the harder shots. Wilder + 2 KD
WIlder won.
Fury merely survived.Comment
