There are no boxers aside from Heavyweight that don’t do this. Unless of course you’re inactive or always cancelling fights that you simply never care to be in shape unlike so many other boxers in other divisions in tip top shape. The only other I remember was Golovkin Canelo 1 after the Jacobs fight. GGG at early pressers was massive.

The only other possibility is that BJS, unlike other boxers, deprive nutrition or work double rate less than 60 days away. For elite level fighters that’s not realistic and hinders any camp. You must be new to boxing. What’s does GGG have to prove at 160? That makes no sense. He will fight at 168. The problem is which network, reason for the delay. GGG can be a 2 Division Champion should he fight Plant or Benavidez’s Vacant WBC. GGG is in a good spot. He doesn’t need 160.
