I'm not a fan of Saunders by any stretch, but a fighter moving up a division at around the age of 30 (and Saunders is 30 in 6 months) and the cut becomes harder is so common as to be barely worthy of comment.
I don't trust the ol' nasal spray excuse any more than I'm sold on tainted meat, but chances are he would be moving up around this age whether or not PEDs were part of his regimen.Comment

I believe
He was huge when he agreed to fight Lemieux
And then **** the guy dropped all kinds of weight
Still looked huge once he hydratedComment

I can’t believe it’s a coincidence though that the second he gets popped, his next fight is at 175 and now he’s moving up to 168 full time.I'm not a fan of Saunders by any stretch, but a fighter moving up a division at around the age of 30 (and Saunders is 30 in 6 months) and the cut becomes harder is so common as to be barely worthy of comment.

Well the 175 fight is simply a matter of not wanting to have to cut weight for a fight that wasn't gonna be sanctioned anyway. Why put yourself through the weight cut if you don't have to? Whether the timing is coincidence or not, I can't tell you, but almost to a certainty a guy who's been fighting at 160 since he was 19 years old is due - in fact overdue - a move up in weightclass.Comment

Why are you guys saying 175? Technically it’s Cruiserweight as Andrade joked about. BJS weighed 179lbs in his last fight. Not even Eleider Alvarez, thin Bivol, or Kovalev weigh more than 175lbs in their disciplined weight class.Well the 175 fight is simply a matter of not wanting to have to cut weight for a fight that wasn't gonna be sanctioned anyway. You're correct of course, I was just running with Rexys post, but it doesn't change the point I'm making. What it does show is that Saunders was probably cutting pretty hard and/or was already considering a move to 168. If folk are trying to find a smoking gun to 'prove' Saunders was using a Oxilofrine as a PED this isn't it, though it could add weight to a circumstantial argument.
Oh. And that is a fine, fine looking girl, man. I think I'm in lust.

BJS can be as competitive at 168 as he was at 160.
Some good paydays as well if he wins the WBO strap.
Degale, Smith, even Eubank Jnr are huge domestic PPV fights.
I think its a good move for him.Comment
