I know you are not exactly the brightest guy here but if you were offered $80m to go to any country in the world would you take it?
I think the more important question you need to ask yourself is why our stations are offering that kind of money to bring foreign fighters in? It says a lot about what they think of our domestic scene and says even more about what they think of Wilder.
So why don't stations shell out that kind of money ?

Back in the old days there were a lot more fighters with a lot more interest behind them. The general public would be interested in some of those fighters fights.
The markets have changed now. There just isn't the same interest as before and there are even fewer superstars.
The big money comes from being able to get the boxing fans interested but also getting a lot of casual people interested.
Today there just isn't many of those kind of fighters around.
Fury with his struggles, bans, coming back and beating (in most peoples eyes) the HW champion whilst somehow getting up when knocked out has given him a lot of exposure here. He has been in the news or in the media for so many reasons other than just boxing. He has created interest from non boxing fans.
That is why there are few of these superstar $80m+ exclusive contracts around.
Networks are not just going to throw millions at fighters for no reason at all. They expect something in return. That is getting numbers onto their platforms. And beating numbers of rival platforms.
Word in the British tabloids was that Fury was getting at least 20 million British pounds, plus I imagine the upside from the profit. Everything seemed to be 50/50. The only issue that I can even think could've happened was the location of the fight being at Barclays. That's about it.
Adding Arum into the mix is horrible. Everyone knows he and Haymon are enemies. Look at how long it took them to make the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight happen. Arum is the last person anyone should be getting with if they're actually looking to make the big fights. He's known for "marinating".
This is horrible, horrible news. And I'm a Tyson Fury fan, too, so this isn't even to diss him. I am truly disappointed, for real. Fury was doing so great, losing weight. Why is he doubting himself now? He should've rose to the challenge and fought the rematch.
-_-' Great, now the HW division goes back to being boring, until Wilder ages a couple more years, and everyone finally gains the courage to challenge him again.
Well, there are too many inconsistencies with AJ's side of things.
"We worked so hard to build boxing back up to where it is in the UK, so i want to bring the fights here" - Then goes to fight Miller in USA.
I think both sides are probably partly to blame, but it's hard to ignore the double standards of AJ's team when it comes to fighting Wilder and someone else.
Theres no inconsistencies .Hearn and Joshua made it clear they want the undisputed title fight in the U.K. Miller is just one of a few fights that will be in the U.S . Suggesting he back tracked is not reality, he can't just be stationary in one place he has fighters everyone .On.DAZN cards he puts shows all over the U.S depending where the fighter is from that is on a card.
oh i know damn well why they are in the US....i just found it funny when AJ said he had to fight wilder in the UK....then wilder said "ok ill do it ...send me a contract for 2018" and hearn sent one for 2019...lol
Finkel confirmed he knew the fight was for 2018, . Once again wrong.
