Garcia was dominating. Salido was not coming back, and the headbutt was on purpose.

The truth of the matter is that salido was coming on and garcia had difficulty dealing with his pressure but the was no way salido would have won that match by the knockdowns alone he was up on the scorecards.

Salido is tough, but dirty. Let me smash your nose with my head 1st, then box me after that. Let's see how it goes for you. I get it, i get it, no quitting. But that's in a clean fight. Salido had his chance to do it by boxing clean, but he had to be a billy goat because he didn't have any other chance. U hit my nuts, give me a short rest then lets fight. while I agree that khan is damaged goods, I'm not necessarily in agreement with the belief that it's ok to quit as long as you're ahead on the scorecards. I remember Chavez also doing that with Randall in the rematch and it wasn't a good look. Either way, I like Mikey as a fighter but other than Spence, it's not like his level of competition crushes who Crawford has faced. I actually would've orwfrred garcia vs Crawford because there isn't as much of a size difference. Arum probably would've squashed that though.

I Agree on the quitting BS. If your a boxer that means your a warrior there should be no quitting on you period!

Why the hell would you keep fighting with a broken nose from a headbutt?? If it was a punch then yeah that would have been a quitjob. But the guy was being dirty as usual. Why would you risk further injury?

Some idiots in this site blamed mikey for quitting after being headbutt by salido. Some morons even believed that salido would have ko garcia had he continued fighting. Idk what fight were they watching. No way salido would win that fight.

True, but he has to beat him to get full credit. If he get's hammered which he will then he doesn't one up Crawford.

Crawford has a better resume of wins than Garcia and a better resume of accomplishments like #1 at 135 cleaned out, undisputed at 140 and FOTY in 2014 and the irony is if Mikey didn't duck the Gamboa fight maybe Crawford doesn't fight Gamboa and destroy him and his unbeaten record. Mikey is an excellent fighter but he's been more strategically maneuvered around to his titles and same style of opponents whereas Bud has faced more styles, more difficult styles.

Mikey gets a lot of credit for fighting Spence though and I wish him well and hope he makes a fight of it.

Crawford is all smoke and mirrors. The only decent opponent he has on his resume is Postol.

I have posted the same here in the past that Mikey Garcia quit against Salido......How can I forget due to the fact that My Son and I had a friendly wager that nite (I lost because of the so called official score cards) and Garcia completely quit with the help of HBO and Co.....but that is what HBO gets because Mikey and the whole lot of cowards took off to PBC.....Crawford is the Man
