It only seems to be a problem with PBC fighters. All promoters are working with each other.

only positive I'm taking out of this deal other than the stupendous amount of money fury's making is that he's in a position where it's going to be hard to rob him of victory again, top rank are og's in the game..if there's one thing they can do to aid fury..it's the selection of competent judges that's if they still intend to go the wilder rematch route and other subsequent fights they have for him as well..cong**** to fury for making a seemingly(for now) shrewd move to avoid such situation again even though I'm not sure he had boxing fans interest at heart

What a mess. In other words the Big Three will fight each other at the age they are wearing oxygen masks. It is incredible how unsportsman-like this sport has become. UFC has many problems, but pitting the best against the best is usually not one of them. Many problems in boxing could have been solved by establishing a governing body. A ship cannot have multiple captains. One division, one belt, one champion. Too bad $$$ would never let that happen.

Good for Tyson. What's this submissive attitude most of you "grown" men have; why should Tyson build his career around Wilder's convenience? It's comical how upset some of you are. If they want to make the fight with ESPN, they'll make the fight.

If this move is better for Tyson's career, he'd know it better than you.

I mean two of the big three have already faced off. It just seems unlikely a rematch happens anytime soon.

Pretty soon we will be back on to Joshua vs Wilder.............

I think Joshua vs Fury is DEAD in the near future as there will be not one, but TWO network roadblocks for that fight.

As a boxing fan you should want to see Fury vs Wilder II.

We were about to get it, now we're most likely not. You'd have to be a moron to be happy about that.

And like I said ESPN and Fury don't care about losing a purse bid he has no belt in the first place no matter how much DAZN or Showtime wins a purse bid.

What's going to happen is ESPN will give him a date and bum opponent and a ton of money and Fury will tell the WBC he doesn't want a rematch and doesn't want a purse bid. He takes himself out of the running for the WBC belt and Joshua owns the remaining belts. Fury is going to bank on calling himself Lineal champ and that he doesn't need a belt and keep fighting on.

lets wait and see what happens ESPN want some big fights as well I'm sure they not just giving all that money for weak fights

Wilder rematch is likely not next now though I agree with that

Fair play to Fury, he'd be ****** to turn down that amount of money. I can't help but think any future fight between Joshua, Wilder and Fury will be extremely hard to make now though. Yes all of their promoters have done co-promotional shows before, but HW is the blue ribbon division and therefore offers up the most money and prestige. Now you and I average working Joe's may think that if the money on offer is more then there's more chance people will share, as even a shared amount is more than they'd otherwise get... But the more money that's on the table, the more greedy and selfish the promoters seem to get.

So Fury signs with the team that won't get him the Wilder rematch and somehow that's Wilder's fault? lol.

Usually we see fighters leave Arum when they finally want the big payday. Floyd, Pac, Cotto, just to name a few.

Shelly Finkel, Wilder's co-manager, told ESPN that he said he wasn't sure if Showtime had a contractual right to a rematch but that he hoped the network would be involved if the fight is finalized."

Copied that from the espn article.

Wilder's own manager doesn't even know. Shame this situation has become a ****fest. I knew something was up when there wasn't an announcement yet.
