Well what is the kid supposed to say no I don't want to fight Canelo? Everyone within 2 weight classes of Canelo wants that Fight. Hes the biggest payday in the sport. Now he has no shot of getting the fight he is hands down the worst belt holder not only at 160 bit one of the worst in any division. He holds a secondary belt yet is only ranked number the 9 best middleweight on ESPN'S own website and he is a ESPN fighter lol

Assuming Canelo beats Jacobs it’s a decent enough option for him.

The reason you hearing names like Horn is because top rank has nobody at 154 or 160. PBC owns 154 only big name they don't have is Munguia who fights on DAZN. At 160 all the big names and real belts are with DAZN contenders like Charlo with PBC. Even at 168 top rank don't have nothing which is why Ramirez is moving up to 175. They need to get creative to find opponents for Brant. I think a realistic fight is a guy like Jason Quigley who they tried to make a fight with for Murata even trying to force Murata to vacate his belt because the WBA were enforcing the mandatory Brant. They knew Murata ****** and was a phony they just needed him to win 1 fight so they could sell his belt to GGG with promise of big money in Japan. Murata couldn't do it now they stuck with Brant who doesn't bring money to the table and you haven't heard GGG name linked to ESPN since.

I don't think Brant is refined enough to give Canelo too many problems.

Start sloppy against Canelo, you'll be put on your back. Or your face, or your knees, or you'll quit on your stool.

Yeah, they don't have many big named options but they can find guys without resorting to Jeff Horn.

If Canelo beats Jacobs it's all but guaranteed he is fighting GGG next in Sept. If not GGG he could fight WBO Andrade/Saunders winner to become undisputed champ. If he wants to do a normal mandatory defense Charlo or Lemieux is next from WBC and WBA. Derevyanchenko/Culcay will be mandatory for IBF (Jacobs belt). Canelo has unifications and mandatory defenses lined up for the next 2 years and bigger money fight options along the way then Brant. He is on the wrong side of the network street and not mandatory for any of Canelo belts plus Canelo already has the real WBA belt. If Canelo cares about belts he is going after the real ones he doesn't have IBF and WBO.

Rob Brant suspect with choice of words. Pacquiao never said stuff like "I love..."

it's better to say, "Canelo easy work, I'll beat his ass." - Charlo
