Should the current corrupt judges be replaced by retired or active boxers?

Let's face it, these old seniles non-pugilist corrupt judges is not a boon to the sport. In fact, they are one of the main contributors to the degradation of this beautiful sport. They are far easier to bribe and who the hell knows if Mary can really understand the small nuances of scoring the fight or she is better off just left cooking in the kitchen.

Why the hell just give retired or active boxers a job to score the fight. Are these current senile judges better than say for example Ward, Floyd, Malignaggi as the 3 judges? First off these 3 are not so easy to bribe, it would take a lot more money, they have great pride and innate love for the sport and they understand the smallest intricacies and nuances of how the fight is transpiring which will translate to a better and more accurate boxing scoring.

Not saying the scoring would now be 100% accurate but it should easily result way better than these seniles would ever do, these pugilists really know what Ring Generalship means which I suspect Mary doesn't and these seniles just use it as a scapegoat to justify their corruption.

Did you ever notice that when an analyst ask Floyd or Ward Live about their analysis of what's happening to the current fight. They would give an honest view to the point that they are being berated as coons afterwards. They absolutely don't care, these pugilist love their sport first and foremost and it's natural for them to give an honest technical analysis of the fight.

Nope, because then we would complain that they are biased due to race or nationality

How about just making changes to the existing system to eliminate or at least reduce corruption.

No, that would just create a lot more controversy.

Yes. I'm totally in for that. Long term goal should be to overhaul or make drastic change to the current system like for example find a way to incorporate a replay system by the end of the fight, use the advantage of technology to help judges in their scoring. But with all these, I still believe they should prioritize giving boxers the job for scoring the fight. They deserve it and that is more natural for them to do so than these non-pugilist will ever be.

Boxers often can't score fights for ****. They also often have personal biases towards their own style and against other team or promoters. So no this would be a horrible idea.

eliminate that the lead promoter picks and pays the judges for each fight.

"A list of judges, pre-approved by the lead promoter, is taken by the sanctioning body to the commission (which is also often filled with buddies and old cronies of the promoter) and, from that list, three judges are appointed for the bout. The promoter is then responsible for not only providing payment to the judges..."

thats a pretty big start. the whole system is setup as a bribe. play ball or no more gigs...have a pool of judges that is randomly selected for each fight with fixed salaries and open to review in case some are compromised by outside influences.

                  100%.

GGG fans go in outrage mode when you explain that Moretti scored it close in both fights but use ringside observers to make the final call. Then they think Moretti is 26 years old, meanwhile they also think Hearns and RJJ, whom had scored GGG vs Canelo a DRAW was because they thought the Motorcity Cobra and Jones were born in South Korea.
