Middleweight champion SRR fought welterweight champion Carmen Basilio for his middleweight title and lost the first fight before winning a return match and nobody cried about that. Welterweight champ Griffith beat Middleweight champ Tiger for his middleweight title and won and nobody cried about that. Henry Armstrong was the featherweight champ when he won the welterweight title. That is just a few examples of dozens of times when boxers moved up many more pounds than Mikey is moving up and WON the fight. You talk about mismatches but Spence is a 4 to 1 betting favorite to beat Mikey. In his last fight Crawford was a 50 to 1 betting favorite and you had no complains about a mismatch then. If Spence crushes the brave Mikey like I think he will then I am sure you will tell us how that was a nothing win for Spence but you are wrong. Mikey would be the betting favorite over most of the top 10 world rated welterweights.
