I had no problem with the flip and celebration but when he stood over him and did the sledgehammer thing, that was too much.
I do think he's an awesome boxer, tho.
Baseball bat I think... but yeah. No issue with a bit of cockiness, but that went a little too far IMO. Really ain't surprised Jessie got mad at that one, nor can I blame him. That ain't taunting the fighter that's taunting their loved ones and fans.... kids will be kids but someone should probably have a word with Teofimo about that ish.
There is a different between showboating like Naz use to do (Even he was hated for it) and doing what someone like Teo lopez did at the end of the fight, that is classless. That was similar to what Charlo did after defeating J.Williams, those moves are classless moves. Dancing/showboating in the ring while fighting is cool but after someone has fallen!!! Keep it classy.
the only one crying is you son! that behind the back punch was dope. it was the gesture after the fight people disapproved of and you know this. You're just so salty about Loma you had to make a thread being ignorant anyway. The hate starts deep with you, doesn't it?
The difference is one guy was knocked out and in narnia trying to get up lol. But otherwise I dont care. It’s a f ucking fight. Shoulda won and backed up your own s hit talk.
When Teofimo was showboating against Magdaleno in his last fight with the punch behind the back move people here lost it saying “ the kid is too ****y” “he needs to be humbled” etc.
Yet when Lomachenko does the same thing he’s praised as a god “that’s is just so incredible he can play with his opponent like that” lol
The Teofimo hate is starting early with him.
I was at the fight and he was super impressive. It's a little premature but I really think he's got elite star potential. His reflexes are right up there with the best.
Some of Loma's antics against Jason Sosa were disgraceful. The matador impersonation and what he did after he landed a hard bodyshot at some point in the fight. I like me a little bit of showboating, like smiling at your opponent, shaking your head to say "no", dropping your guard, staying against the ropes, looking elsewhere, doing the Ali shuffle, etc. Sometimes it can be funny and look cool, but what Loma did against Sosa looked just ridiculous and cheesy.

I tend to agree here. I think the dancing and flip were just celebrating a win, but then to go over to the guy you just knocked out to taunt him was in pretty poor taste.
I'm not saying he needs to be humbled for it, just needs to grow up a bit.
