Last report from Blackwell was Feb. 13, he said that he's trying to get back in shape by running 8 miles a day. He says he is still recovering, but is indeed capable on living on his own. The man can still have a normal life if he has enough in the tank to run 8 miles.

He had some real potential also, that fight against Chris Eubank was a a underrated fight. He kept on coming all night, and was getting off with some body shots and hooks of his own 'Good fight'. But you could see that technically he was abit limited, but a lot of raw ability 'He was in my opinion still recovering, when he sparred' the brain or nervous system has a very slow recovery rate, bone tissue is then the second slowest, muscles and skin fastest.

To see him smiling, is kind of positive though.

Imagine calling any boxer a bum or coward after seeing all these examples of what these warriors risk for our entertainment.

It takes elite level to truly master the high guard. Some boxers press against without ever changing the position of their guards, and when you’re in a fight the rush sometimes overtakes safe thinking . For instance Brandon Rios likes to use the high guard endlessly and likes taking damage as in the Blackwell and Eubank bout. You can’t be taking shots like that or rely on such a irresponsible defense which is why Rios has slurred speech early. Not everybody recovers at the same rate with cell reproduction, and permanent damage for 30% depleted cells is the worst scenario at a young age.

I wish the Blackwell family happiness to the end because his condition will get worse.

I hope Blackwell doesn’t ever hang around BJS ever again. Just bad luck. Fury I’m cool with.
