Yup when the fight was first reported and they said it would go either June 1 or June 8 I thought for sure they would go with the 8th to ensure you get two subscriptions out of fans. But the unknown here is GGG. If they are sure he is signing with DAZN he can't fight too this year otherwise he would be out of the running for a mega fight in Sept with the winner of Canelo/Jacobs. It's Mid Feb already so no way GGG can fight in April. July is too late even with a tune up very risky that he could be ready again for Sept. That means GGG has to fight either late May (unlikely) or mid to late June meaning you have to have 2 big name fights in 1 month.

With DAZN locking Joshua in for June 1st tells me they know they have another big name fight either AFTER Canelo or AFTER Joshua to lure multiple month subscribers and I think it's GGG they are banking on.

May 4 - Canelo/Jacobs
June 1st - Joshua/Miller
June 8-15 - GGG/TBA
Sept 15 - Canelo/Jacobs vs GGG

You also getting Andrade vs Saunders which will be mandated by the WBO. DAZN should schedule that in July and you got WBSS coming back. A lot of big fights from May-Sept.

You make great points! I didn't think about Triple g and I forgot about Andrade-Saunders...
But you're absolutely right! I can definitely see Triple g fighting mid June and then you throw the Andrade-Saunders fight somewhere in between and then Canelo again in September and you have a pretty good run of good fights there....
Not too mention Munguia, Bivol, and other lower scale fights in between DAZN looks to be in good shape for the next 6-8 months....
All that boxing for $10 a month is definitely a bargain!

I actually think Miller because of his share size and not even talking about punching power 'His physical strength in terms of bulling opponents' will push Anthony Joshua abit. I have noticed that Anthony Joshua used to always implement a opening blitz, but in his recent fights he opts to box early from the get go 'It is hard to judge Millers punching power, but he hits harder than Tyson Fury that is for sure' Does he have better punch resistance & durability than Anthony Joshua's last opponents? Who knows, these are unknown abilities.

But if Miller has got impressive punch resistance and physical durability, it will be a long night. But stylistically a exciting fight, I just feel Anthony Joshua will the ability to land more often.

I want to see somebody just go to the body on Anthony Joshua hard, mabye Miller can.

Great post! I was thinking the same thing as I will be subscribing to DAZN for the first time on 3 May and bonus others like me get both of those fights for free. Hopefully they add some other big fights before September.

I suspect drug testing has a bit to do with it.
Wilder will insist on strict drug testing, Miller under hearn wont care about testing.

AJ has all his resources at home to beat the drug testers but going to the US will be a different story.
