He lost his reflexes years ago and looks like he has nothing left. They'll probably give him some tuneup to KO to build some momentum, then feed to an upcoming house fighter. He'll make a couple of mill out of it.

Gamboa was a beast at 126 nobody wanted to fight him at 130 he was ok still was fast and had power but wasn't knocking people out the way he had been last opponent he really dominated and stopped that was a notable name was Jorge Solis and I think that was back in 2011 so yeah its been almost a decade and he has only 1 more KO against Monte de Oca but he was just a journeyman and other than that bunch of close fights where he got hurt and barely scored the W or lost. He was a special talent in his prime the Lopez fight would have been great but unfortunately he can't make 130 safely anymore barely can make 135 and hes too small with not enough power at lightweight there's some heavy hitters in that division right now. I hope he finds a 2nd wind with PBC maybe pulls of some upsets he is a warrior and still has skills but I just don't see it happening hope he proves me wrong though.
