Khan hit a more inexperienced Maidana with a great body shot that dropped him early, putting him ahead on the cards. Maidana came back to maul him and almost got him out of there but Khan escaped with his life and won a decision.

Pretty much everyone but Khantards agrees on here that if a rematch ever happened, Maidana would stop him.

Damn. He hit Floyd with a picture perfect shot. Lucky for Floyd it was at the end of the round. Unlucky for Maidana that Floyd's chin is A+++.

That body shot had Maidana in worse trouble than Khan was later in the fight. Khan was hurt and running but Maidana couldn't even drop him. Maidana lost that fight because Khan was the better fighter that night....and Khan was fragile, even back then.

Only from the perspective that it actually dropped him, Maidana cumulatively did way more damage to Khan than the other way around. it was one of the few clean, non jabs Khan landed the whole night.

Yeah but that has more to do with Khans chin being annihilated by like 10 fighters since then...Khan is just a heavy bag at this point
